Rotary Fine Screen | Internally Fed Fine Screen | High-Precision Solid-Liquid Separator

Product Information

In modern municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, removing fine suspended solids like hair and fibers is critical to protect downstream biological systems. This internally fed screen features a fully enclosed design: wastewater enters from inside the unit and flows outward through a high-precision stainless steel mesh. It efficiently intercepts extremely fine impurities, conveying and dewatering them internally. This not only achieves high separation precision but also greatly improves the working environment of the wastewater plant.

Working Principle

As a highly efficient Rotary Fine Screen, the unit filters through continuously rotating stainless steel mesh panels. Wastewater enters from the center and passes through the mesh, trapping debris on the inside. As the panels rotate, the trapped debris is carried to the top and stripped off by high-pressure wash water or a scraper, falling into a central screw press for dewatering. This design ensures the mesh stays clear and prevents clogging, even when handling high concentrations of suspended solids.

Application Fields

1.Municipal wastewater plants: replacing traditional fine screens to efficiently remove hair and fibers.
2.Paper and pulp industry: recovering short paper fibers from wastewater.
3.Slaughterhouses and food processing: separating visceral residue, meat scraps, and grease.
4.Textile and dyeing wastewater: intercepting long/short fibers and fabric scraps.

FAQ

Q1: Why does this equipment filter more cleanly than standard screens?
A: A Rotary Fine Screen uses a dense stainless steel mesh (typically 0.5–2mm) and an internally fed design. The water flow is perpendicular to the mesh, leaving fine impurities with nowhere to hide, offering much higher filtration precision than traditional rake screens.

Q2: Will the mesh get clogged by hair or grease?
A: Generally no. The equipment is equipped with a continuous high-pressure spray system. Combined with the continuous rotation of the mesh, it washes away attached hair and grease promptly. For wastewater with extremely high oil content, it is recommended to pair it with a degreasing process or use warm water for washing.

Q3: Can the equipment's capacity handle large wastewater plants?
A: Yes. The equipment typically uses a modular parallel design with a large open area and low head loss. The specific capacity can be customized based on your channel width and flow rate.
